A bath charged with Magnus 152 (hot alkaline, powder) or a soak tank of Magnus 755 for carbonised parts is re-usable for months, so cost per cleaned component collapses compared with aerosol-and-rag cleaning. Match the bath to the metal: 152 and 215-type alkalis for steel, 755 where aluminium housings and mixed assemblies go in the same tank.

Contain and absorb, never hose: ring the spill with Peat D, work it in, sweep and dispose per your environmental procedure — Namibian depots increasingly operate under zero-discharge expectations, and diesel to a stormwater drain is a reportable event. OSE 750 dispersant belongs in the response kit for residual film on sealed surfaces. The absorbent bag at the fuel bay costs less than the smallest environmental fine.
